Dino Titaro, M.Sc., P.Geo
Chairman, Director
Dino Titaro has over 35 years of international experience in the mining and exploration mineral resource industry. He has been involved in project management, feasibility studies, reserve estimation, due diligence studies, valuation studies, social and environmental permitting processes for mine construction and development and related risk management and has extensive corporate and operational experience. He was the founder of Carpathian Gold Inc., a public mineral exploration company listed on the TSX, and was the President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2003 to January 2014 and a director from January 2003 to August 2014. From 1986 to 2003, Mr. Titaro was the principal owner and President and Chief Executive Officer of A.C.A. Howe International Limited, a geological and mining consulting firm. From 1980 to 1986, Mr. Titaro was employed by Getty Mines Limited in various supervisory roles as a geologist, working on base and precious metal projects as well as uranium, principally in resource definition stages.
Mr. Titaro currently serves as a director of Allied Gold Corp., Golconda Gold Ltd, as well as EV Minerals. Mr. Titaro has been a director and officer of several other publicly traded companies in the mining, industrial and health care technology fields. Mr. Titaro holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a qualified person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects (“NI 43-101”) and is registered as a P.Geo in Ontario.
Steve Roebuck, B.Sc., P.Geo
President & CEO
Mr Roebuck has over 25 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry including open-pit and underground mine operations.
Mr. Roebuck has held management positions with junior exploration companies and small junior production companies.
In addition he has capital market expertise including M&A strategies, junior financing (over $10 M), investor relations and marketing.
Donna R. McLean, B.A.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. McLean has over 25 years experience working with numerous publicly-traded and private companies, specializing in the areas of financial reporting, controls and administration. She has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Controller for several mineral exploration companies, including Intrepid Mines Ltd., Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd. (formerly Excalibur Resources Ltd.), Firestone Ventures Inc. and Aurania Resources Ltd. Ms. McLean is founder and President of DMc CORPORATE SERVICES INC., a private company that provides financial and administrative services to established and emergent businesses, operating in a variety of sectors and industries.
Ken Brook, B.Sc., M.Sc.
President, Avidian Gold US Inc.
Ken Brook is a Registered Consulting Geologist, a Certified Professional Geologist and a Qualified Person with 43 years of mineral exploration experience. Early work with Cominco focused on porphyry copper and VMS deposits in Arizona, while later work for Utah International (BHP) involved setting up their Nevada gold exploration program. Ken started and has successfully operated Desert Ventures Inc. since 1981, and the company has provided complete mineral exploration consulting services to major mining companies, junior mining companies and investment groups.
Ken has researched mineral deposit models in Mexico and Australia, but the majority of his work has been in the western US with a focus on volcanic- and sediment-hosted gold deposits in Nevada. Business development and the identification of acquisition opportunities have been another facet of his work with successes including Franco Nevada’s purchase of the Goldstrike royalty, Canyon Resources’ operational joint-venture with an eastern coal company, a private company’s acquisition of a major patented claim land package, and Orsa Ventures recent discovery in the Oreana Trend of central Nevada. Ken was a co-founder and VP Exploration of Nevoro Nevada, a TSX-listed company, and has been responsible for initially organizing Avidian and acquiring Avidian’s Nevada property package.
John N. Schaff, B.Sc.
Vice President, Exploration
John Schaff is an exploration geologist with over 30 years of mineral exploration experience throughout North America. John’s most recent experience as Exploration Manager for Coeur Mining includes having an integral part in the recent discovery of the C-Horst deposit located in the highly active Bare Mountain-Fluorine mining district near Beatty, NV. During the 1990s through the early 2000s, John was fortunate enough to actively participate in numerous discoveries including, Kennecott’s Gemfield, Midway, and Castle gold deposits located in Nevada, USA and the Whistler Cu-Au deposit in Alaska, Rio Tinto’s Eagle and Tamarack Cu-Ni deposits located in Michigan and Minnesota, USA, the Diavik Diamond mine in the Northwest Territories, Canada and Noranda’s Lynne VMS deposit located in Wisconsin, USA. Additional experience includes grassroots property generation through advanced exploration, project management, brownfield exploration surrounding Kennecott’s Green Creek mine, Alaska and Denton-Rawhide mine, Nevada, underground exploration at Coeur’s Kensington mine, Alaska.
John’s experience on a wide variety of mineralized systems and technical support on previous exploration programs contributes to the development of innovative exploration technologies improving the efficiency and effectiveness of mineral exploration.
